Project ReGenesis is a social initiative launched with a simple yet urgent mission - to break down barriers to circular economy adoption and improve the lives of ragpickers in Mumbai. The project seeks to integrate sustainable practices into urban communities while addressing the immediate needs of waste workers through a series of targeted interventions - ranging from community plastic collection drives to safety training and innovative mapping tools. By collaborating with industry partners like Gravitas India and local NGOs, Project ReGenesis aims to cultivate pathways for plastic waste to be recycled into valuable materials, while equipping ragpickers with protective gear, training, and advocacy to improve their working conditions and create a new lens for their societal perception.
